Viognier: Viogner is a rare wine. It is fruity, floral, and spicy with exotic perfumes such as mayflowers and tropical fruits. While the colour and even the flavour profile may suggest sweetness, Viognier is actually a drier wine. Extremely versatile, this medium to full bodied delight is perfect in a variety of venues, from a casual evening with friends to a formal dinner. Viogner is equally as versatile when it comes to food pairings. It pairs well with everything from Sushi to Thai food. Bold cheeses such as Feta and Emmentaler as well as soft blue cheeses also pair well with this wine.
